The Advertising Equipment Brand "Go Globally" forum, which follows the success of last year's edition at APPPEXPO, continued to attract a full house and offered a wealth of valuable insights.

 

Mr. Matsumoto Atsusi, President of Kinki Outdoor Advertising Association, took the stage to deliver a presentation titled "Current Status and Future of Outdoor Advertising in Japan." Through data analysis and trend forecasts, he expressed confidence in the recovery of Japan's outdoor advertising industry. Mr. Matsumoto Atsusi also highlighted trends such as digitization, new media, and landscape coordination, expressing optimism for digital signage and 3D outdoor screens.

 

 

Mr. Lau S. K., President of Federation Of Malaysia Advertising Manufacturer, presented on the "Current Status of the Advertising Signage Market in Malaysia." He pointed out a series of advantages for Malaysia, including its geographical location, cultural diversity driving diversified demand, urbanization accelerating business opportunities, the rise of digital technology innovation, and opportunities for collaboration between China and Malaysia. Mr. Lau S. K. welcomed Chinese companies to participate in exhibitions and procurement activities in Malaysia.

 

 

KeyPoint Intelligence, a renowned international wide-format printing market research firm, annually releases the latest "Wide-Format Market Trends Analysis and Forecast." Ms. Wu Jing, Public Relations Customer Service Manager for the Asia-Pacific market at KeyPoint Intelligence, addressed the audience. While revealing a slowdown in the growth rate of the wide-format market, she pointed out challenges and directions for shortening delivery times, enhancing technological and environmental levels, and proposed solutions such as online ordering models and quick-drying inks to improve core competitiveness and pursue high efficiency.

 

 

Mr. Ma Kefei, Senior Manager of the Financial Markets Department at the Shanghai Branch of Ningbo Bank, interpreted "A Brief Analysis of Overseas Investment Policies and Recent Exchange Rate Trends." He explained the legal regulations, processes, and necessary documentation for enterprises planning to invest overseas. Mr. Ma Kefei also analyzed that there is no significant downside risk for the US dollar in 2024, and there is limited room for appreciation of the renminbi, reminding everyone to pay attention to the policies of the Two Sessions in March and future economic trends.

 

 

Ms. Jiang Yuping, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Edgelight Industry Co., Ltd., which won the Excellent Brand Award at the 1st "Asian Advertising Brand Value Awards," delivered a keynote speech titled "EdgeLight: Intelligent Manufacturing Empowers the Future." She showcased Edgelight's global layout, including overseas bases in Germany and the United States, as well as the smart park of Shanghai Edgelight Science and Technology Park, a newly built city in 2023. Edgelight's core development strategy focuses on innovative technology and increasing production capacity, providing solutions in areas such as exhibition display, indoor and outdoor architectural lighting, brand supermarket decoration, advertising design, and public project lighting.

 

 

Shanghai Seeing Sign Limited., which received the Excellent Brand Award at the 1st "Asian Advertising Brand Value Awards," was represented by Mr. Si Shuai, General Manager Assistant, who presented "Sign Projects of Seeing." He elaborated on the design concept, material selection, craftsmanship, and actual effects, showcasing Seeing's comprehensive industry chain service capabilities from design to construction in nine major signage project areas.

 

 

Ms. Cui Ying, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Wosen Expo Co., Ltd., delivered a speech titled "Overseas Exhibition: A Strategic Choice to Efficiently Develop Markets." She pointed out the experience of online drainage and offline efficient transactions for enterprises, actively exploring overseas markets to avoid internal competition. Drawing on years of experience as an organizer of overseas exhibitions, she provided valuable suggestions for improving exhibition effectiveness (especially in terms of multi-dimensional market selection and post-show follow-up), closely monitoring policy subsidies to reduce exhibition costs and other aspects.
