About us

In today’s rapidly advancing urbanization process in China, signage has evolved beyond a simple guiding tool—it is now a carrier of urban aesthetics and brand value. As a pioneer in the domestic signage industry, SEEING SIGN Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd. has spent nearly 30 years refining its expertise, using iconic projects to embody the concept that "signage is art."

From Dakin to SEEING 

Part of China Sign revolution

In 1996, SEEING SIGN’s predecessor, "Dakin Signage," was established in Lu'an, Anhui. Initially focused on advertising, the company gradually evolved into a professional signage system service provider. In 2001, the company moved to Shanghai and founded Shanghai Dakin Signage as a sole proprietorship.

In 2005, the company set up its own factory and established Shanghai SEEING SIGN Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd., integrating design and production. In 2017, the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Industrial Zone project was launched, marking the company's entry into a new phase of large-scale development.

Signage,Not Just Function, It’s Art

At SEEING SIGN, we believe that an excellent signage system should combine both functionality and artistry. Take the "Sanya Haitang Bay Luxury Collection Hotel" as an example—our design team drew inspiration from "Royal Haitang" and infused Eastern aesthetics into modern signage, making each sign an extension of the hotel's ambiance. In the "Shanghai West Smart Tower" project, we incorporated smart interactive technology, transforming signage from a static guide to an interactive art installation.

“Signage design is a multidisciplinary field, involving architecture, engineering, aesthetics, and even psychology,” said Mr. Jin, CEO of SEEING SIGN. “Our goal is to make signage the finishing touch that elevates urban spaces.”

Behind every project is SEEING SIGN’s relentless pursuit of detail. For the signage system at the "Sheraton Hefei Ligan Hotel," the team employed metal etching techniques to ensure the signs maintain their texture and quality even with long-term use. Meanwhile, at the Red Star Macalline Home Expo Center, the team used three-dimensional lighting design to make the signage stand out and retain its artistic flair, even at night.

With the development of smart cities, the signage industry is embracing new opportunities. SEEING SIGN has begun exploring cutting-edge technologies such as AI interactive signage and digital navigation systems, with plans to implement them in more landmark projects across cities.
