Shanghai International Advertising Festival 2018 Is Coming

Shanghai International Advertising Festival 2018 (SHIAF) will be held in National Exhibition and Convention Center from March 28 to March 31, 2018. The Festival is held by Shanghai International Advertising Festival Committee and Shanghai Modern International Exhibition Co., Ltd, guided by the Shanghai Administration for Industry and Commerce, and supported by the People's Government of Qingpu District, Donghao Lansheng Group, and Shanghai University. 

The first Shanghai International Advertising Festival Launch Conference was held at China Financial Information Center on Sept 7, 2017. Hundreds of advertising innovators, corporate executives and media experts witnessed the conference.

Inspired by the tenet of "BEYOND VISION", the first SHIAF is committed to build a top advertising industry exchange platform, to promote the interaction among international advertising media groups, brand enterprises, government agencies, institutions of higher learning and China Market, as well as to attract international talents and useful techniques. By now, 29 companies from the advertising industry , which include world-class advertising media enterprises and six international advertising companies, have reportedly pledged to support the festival. 

The exhibition unit of Shanghai International Advertising Festival will be divided into six sections, which includes brand section, creativity section, media section, city section, equipment section and shortlisted works section. The festival will also organize one main forum and six sub-forums. The topic of the main forum is "The Belt and Road Initiative" and the National Advertising Industry Development Forum.

During SHIAF is in session, a competition organized by SHIAF will be held at the same time. The competition will issue certain number of awards to individuals, enterprises and teams from all over the world. The Awards are generally composed of review and selection categories, covering 6 types including the design of creative ideas, brand marketing, technological innovation, media communication, national image and urban expositions. With Mr.Tomaz Mo (from Macao China) acting as the president of the jury and Professor Williams (from America) as the Global Consultant and Academic Chairman, all judge members are experts in the advertising industry at home and abroad.

The competition recruitment will close at the end of Dec 2017, while the first and final review will be conducted in early January 2018. Winning works in the first review will be exhibited during the Festival at National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). All the final winning works will be displayed in APPPEXPO tour exhibition.

Shanghai International Advertisement Festival will be a rewarding event to receive public attention. It would definitely become a new City Card of Shanghai and a new brand for the advertising industry.
